Orlando Baby!

I'm going to Orlando! I'm going to Orlando! Yeah, yeah, yeah! Oh, sorry I was just singing that out loud. That's right, I will be in the air on my way to Orlando in the morning. I can't wait! I need a vacation more than a starving person needs food! I will only be gone Thursday through Sunday, but it will be nice. I am going for work. All of the branch and area managers in the United States will be there. That's a whole lot of white shirts! Pork Chop is very sad that I am going. He hasn't cried yet, but I think it will happen tonight. He doesn't know what he's going to do without me. Honestly, I don't know what I'll do without him. We haven't been away from each other more than a work day for a very long time. I will miss him, but I know I will have a good time! I will update when I get back!

The Warm Weather Is Finally Here!!!

So it's Saturday and I am at work, YUCK! It's only three hours which makes the hour and half drive twice as bad. It's a good day though because it is warm outside and I have great weekend planned. It already started out good with a nice Friday night at home with Pork Chop, just watching TV. We haven't had a weekend home in what seems like forever. After work today, Amber and I are going to get pedicures. I am very excited about this and I have been wanting to do it forever! I am quite shocked because I have never really liked for people to look at my feet let alone touch them. What inspired me was my mom got one and her usually gross feet look great! I hate feet, I hate touching feet and I hate for someone else to touch my feet so I needed some support. That's why my good pal Amber is going with me and she has also never had one. The boys are little upset that we are going to get them done, but that's because they can't stand to be away from us! We are also going to go shoe shopping. I love my boyfriend and I love spending time with him, but damnit we need to have girl time every once in awhile! Anyway, after that we are going to go back to the house and hopefully start drinking. Savannah and Brandon are coming in town so we are going to hang out with them. Woo hoo! All we really have planned is to go to the WV Power game and then we'll probably head back to the house to play some cornhole, horseshoes and whatever else there is to do. We made a cornhole set about a month ago, but it has been too cold to play. I finally finished painting them last night and they ending up looking like the circus. Oh well, they're still cute! Happy Weekend everyone! Hopefully I can get some pictures on here soon. I have so many good pictures to share.

Dum, Dum, Dum, Dum...Here Comes The Bride!

No, I am not getting married, at least not yet. My sister is and I have come to the realization of what I want to do for a career. That's right, I am starting a program to become a bridal consultant. Some of you may laugh like my dad and some of you may be happy for me like my sister and my mom. As I was looking through my sister's bridal magazine, I saw an advertisment to "become a bridal consultant". I admit, it's not something I thought I ever wanted to do even after watching "The Wedding Planner." I am not really that girl who has been planning a wedding since age 6. I honestly wasn't sure if I ever wanted to get married until recently. Last week we went to the resort where my sister is getting married and I was allowed to throw in some ideas as to what I thought. Maybe I put in a little too many and maybe I enjoyed it a little too much. Is there something wrong with that? I don't think so. Maybe I have found my calling. I have never really known what I want to do "with the rest of my life." I have always been kind of lost. The only thing I could think of that I would truly be happy at doing day after day was working for Candid Camera. That has been a dream of mine as long as I can remember. I came to my senses and realized that a girl from West Virginia probably isn't going to work for a show like Candid Camera that may not even be on TV anymore. I really don't have a clue! Anyway, as I was looking through the magazines, I realized that I loved every bit og this wedding thing and I want to plan as much as possible. I submitted my name on this website to "get more information." I got a call yesterday from the school and by the end of the phone call I was enrolled! I really think I will enjoy this as I am a very creative person and I can be very organized if I need to be. It should take 6 months to a year to finish the program. With my work schedule it will probably take me 10 years and by then I will probably lose interest! Well that's it for now. If anyone has any advice, please let me know. I am very excited!!!
